  • Functional Safety Concepts involve eliciting safety requirements, designing component safety concepts, specifying requirements top-down and bottom-up, and conducting analysis through FMEA, FTA, and collaboration with suppliers, hardware, and software stakeholders.

  • Technical Safety Review begins with a gap analysis of safety concepts and requirements per ISO-26262, followed by proposing solutions for identified gaps.

  • Functional Safety Assessments and Process Improvements entail evaluating compliance with ISO-26262, assessing process implementation, recommending release decisions for functional safety, and proposing solutions for any identified issues

Key Activities and Expertise
  • Provide Safety Plans and DIAs adapted to the company structure and culture, ensuring completeness and effectiveness for safety development.

  • Offer detailed Safety Management Reports to provide a complete view of safety activities.

  • Have a dedicated system/component development team that provides Technical Safety Concepts and Technical Safety Requirements tailored to customer needs, supported by Safety Analysis (FMEA and FTA).

  • Perform Confirmation reviews and Functional Safety Assessments to monitor achieved functional safety as per ISO 26262.

  • Provide Component Safety Release Recommendations according to ISO 26262.

  • Evaluate the currently implemented Safety Processes, not only to detect gaps but also to make them more efficient.
